A bright and sunny South Snowdon Wharf apartment enjoying southern views of the ever changing tidal sea, and the Snowdonia mountains as well as the periodic shuttling of the trains of the little Ffestiniog Railway.

The property was reasonably clean, but the fabric of the property was very tired. Unable to find any instructions for the cooker and unable to work one of the ovens.

Considering the standard would not stay there again.

This flat has been upgraded since we last rented it several years ago. The location is ideal for us, although the climb up to it doesn't get any easier. We hope to be able to stay there again before too long.

This flat is tiny, but well laid out and mostly well equipped. However, the lack of hair dryer and faulty oven meant we ended up buying a travel hair dryer and an oven thermometer so we could safely cook our food. Also the place had a smell of damp, especially after rain, more so than the larger, ground floor flats in the same development we have stayed in over many years.

We have stayed at South Snowden Wharf including this property six or seven times now ... the location and views keep us returning to this development. We had expected the big price hike in this particular property to be reflected in an overall improvement in the overall amenities and quality of fixtures and fittings ... sadly not. Other properties on the complex offer better quality of amenities and comfort for this price.

Excellent location in the heart of Porthmadog and a very comfy and well equipped flat. The estuary vista is just wonderful and we enjoyed the ever changing view of the cob, sea, steam train, mountains and bird activity.

Lovely little apartment in great location with fabulous views.
A little more attention to detail needed in the cleaning- coasters, inside drawers etc could have done with a more thorough wipe down - toilet and kitchen were ok though.

Not the standard that we have had at other properties on this complex. Overall cleanliness could have been better. Kitchen area should have been checked better as crumbs on floor & soon pot's
and pan's needed washing before using. This being said it was a comfortable week.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little flat. It is exactly as described: comfortable, we'll equipped and in good order. It is small but the location is superb, close to the shops, restaurants, heritage railways etc yet with a view to die for, and very quiet. The only sounds you hear are seabirds and the occasional steam engine!

Excellent accommodation for two people located on Porthmadog Harbour Wharf overlooking the beautiful Glaslyn estuary with views of the coming and goings of the famous steam trains.
Accommodation facilities were first-class and 'value-for-money' in these trying times. The customer service from STS Holidays was also first-class.
Porthmadog is a welcoming working seaside town with excellent shops, cafes, restaurants and drinking holes and the local people a friendly and warm-welcoming. It also provides an excellent base to visit other areas of interest within North Wales.

Great view, great location, but apartment is not that good value as no wi-fi, old small tv, uncomfortable mattress on bed.
No welcome cake and pint of milk as left for guests in many other apartments. Not as clean on arrival as it could be.

A lovely apartment with great views over The Cob and the estuary. Near to the town and Ffestiniog Railway. It’s on the second floor so quite a few steps to climb up to it. Kept us fit! Small but comfortable lounge/kitchen. No washing machine or dishwasher and no internet. We had a lovely stay and it was perfect for just the two of us.

The apartment was exceptionally clean. The fitted furniture in kitchen, bathroom and bedroom was very good quality and well designed giving plenty of storage. The view from the balcony is stupendous! Our only criticism is the precariousness of the breakfast bar which, being a tight squeeze with the other furniture, was free-standing and very narrow.

We loved everything about the apartment - the views of the estuary, location, parking, layout & lots of storage space. The only comment I would make is that the decor & carpets looked a bit jaded, possibly because it was the end of the season. However, we would be very happy to return to the same apartment & would highly recommend it to others.

The location of this property is excellent, being able to look out over the estuary views was the main reason for booking this property. It is adequate for two adults and we enjoyed our five days there. It was very peaceful. A few things to raise about the apartment itself….The kitchenette and bathroom were clean and fairly new and the lounge furniture comfortable. Unfortunately on entering the property there is a strong stale smell which I feel probably comes from the carpets throughout, the property would probably benefit from having wooden floors which would overcome this issue as can be cleaned thoroughly between lettings. The plastic chairs on the balcony need replacing with something a little sturdier. The stairs to the entrance could do with being swept too and instructions re rubbish disposal needs updating in the handbook, the black bins are apparently no longer used as there is central rubbish and recycling centre within the complex,, the black bin assigned to this property was overflowing so we emptied it ourselves.

Well situated and equipped apartment, ideal base for us as couple, to explore the area.High standard of furniture and crockery etc, with everything that could be needed on the kitchen. Balcony gets the sun until early evening, perfect for relaxing and watching the estuary tides.

Stunning views from the 2nd floor flat, need to be fit to climb up the concrete steps though.
All the woodwork needs re-painting/re-freshing. The lourvers on the wardrobes are a dust magnet.
Great location for exploring North Wales/ Snowdownia.

The weather brought out the local lads girls after school in the water by the apartments there language was awful and spoilt sitting out..

The apartment at Porthmadog was adequate a bit small but comfortable, there was everything you required except a baking tray for the oven. The shower wasn't as clean as it could have been there was and still is hair in the shower trap. There is also an unpleasant musty smell as you enter the apartment.

Enjoyed the stay in this apartment, very quiet with great views. However, the chairs on the balcony are well passed their 'sell by date' and need replacing, otherwise a nice little apartment, cosy and compact just for two.
